  • discuss issues important to the sector;
  • link with partners in improving end of life care.

DNR

  • What instructions to Paramedics recieve regarding DNR;
  • Are DNR forms held centrally – if so where;
  • Oxfordshire (Thames Valley) DNR forms give start dates, but no review dates – there seem to be a variety of processes across England;
  • Who is the OCCG lead for EoL;
  • A blanket DNR policy in some care homes should raise alarm bells;
  • Medication and paramedics – what is the guidance;
  • Discharge procedures – what are the standard NHS arrangements and how do these fit with good practice at care homes;
  • Guidance on the use of analgaesia at death.
