Please note is essential to attend both workshops. There are only 10 places available for each workshop.

  • 16th June – Workshop 1 of 2 – ‘Staffing and Policies & Procedures’
  • 30th June – Workshop 2 of 2 – ‘Data Security, IT Systems and Devices’

BOOK NOW

You have the opportunity to complete the toolkit with us ‘live’ during the workshop. You will also be able to;

  • access further support
  • ask questions
  • provide valuable feedback

To make the most of these two workshops, you will need to complete some initial preparation;

  • registering for the toolkit
  • getting together some policies and procedures.

We will send you further information with your booking confirmation. Please ensure you have allowed enough time to complete the preparation work, before the first workshop.

Suited to organisations who have;

  • not previously completed the toolkit
  • started but not published
  • published previously but needs significant review.

Not sure if you’ve registered for the toolkit before? Search here

Who should attend the workshop?

Attendees could be anyone in your organisation who will be involved with the completion of the toolkit. For example, the owner, the registered manager, an ops manager or specified data protection team member, a data ‘champion’, an administrator.

They should have a good working knowledge of;

  • the organisation’s data
  • how data is managed
  • IT systems
  • policies and procedures.

We recommend the following IT setup during the workshop:

  • Working across 2 screens
  • Calling from your Mobile or Tablet so you can work on your PC
  • Attending in pairs – dialing in on one device and working on the other
  • Working on one PC only, but minimising the MS Teams screen to enable you to work on the toolkit
  • If attending in pairs decide whether you will be co-located (COVID measures adhered to of course!) or working remotely.
  • If you are both going to be remote working, then think about how you might communicate with each other most effectively, during the call.

This offer of support is part of the Better Security, Better Care programme, funded by NHSX to support data and cybersecurity across the adult social care provider sector.
