Articulate your values for values based approaches

October 1, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Delivered live via a virtual web platform (Zoom) by expert colleagues from Skills for Care – booking is essential.

Values define us. They influence who we are, what we believe is important in life, the way we live and how we treat people. In the workplace, they are guiding principles linked to behaviours that help people deliver exceptional care and support. A values-based approach to recruitment involves establishing strong workplace values and ensuring that your workforce matches them. A values-based approach to managing your team recognises the importance of employees feeling that they’re valued, and their contribution is recognised.

During this session you will have the opportunity to:

  • Re-visit the values and behaviours framework and understand what is meant by “Articulating your values”
  • Understand the importance of culture and what creates a positive workplace culture
  • Identify ways and with whom, to develop and agree workplace values
  • See examples of how to articulate and communicate your values internally and externally

You will be sent joining instructions/ dial-in link and a 30 minute pre-recorded presentation to watch prior to the course date.

To book a place on this course, email Evie Bennett on [email protected]

Please note that in case of high levels of interest, OCC may need to limit the number of places that each organisation can book.
