Responsibilities: Learning disability charity Brandon Trust offers rewarding opportunities for support workers; we provide full training and support to gain professional qualifications, in a career where you'll be valued. We support people in Bicester to live a life of freedom.
Discover a rewarding role, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism in all aspects of daily life and help them to increase their independence.

Benefits: You’ll support people at home with everyday tasks, for example, cooking, cleaning, managing finances, and medication. Some of the people we support have complex needs and require support with their personal care, mobility and eating and drinking. You’ll also support people to access their community to do the things they enjoy; for example, shopping, going out for meals, going to hydrotherapy sessions, going on outings - whatever they want to do!
We provide full training, including the nationally recognised Care Certificate, as well as support to gain professional qualifications and develop your career. Our ‘Choices’ employment contract means you can personalise your holiday allowance and pension each year. We also offer a range of benefits.

Experience: You’ll need to be compassionate and able to adapt your approach to individual needs. Good communication skills and a positive, friendly outlook are a must, as is patience. You’ll need to be flexible with shift and weekend work as most roles include a 24/7 rota. It’s also highly desirable (or in some cases, essential) that you have a full driving licence. If you are new to health and social care we provide full training.

Special Requirements: Successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check which we will pay for. We are an Equal Opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all sections of the community.
