We are looking to recruit two full time roles (37.5 hours) in Banbury, in a home where you'll be supporting individuals with behaviour that challenges at times.

In the supported living services, you’ll enable adults with a learning disability, autism or both, to increase their independence, supporting in all aspects of daily living, from cooking to managing finances.

No matter where you join us, supporting people with their personal care and medication needs is key. As a support worker you’ll also support people to do things in their community; from shopping and going on day trips to sport and visiting day centres and maintaining relations with family and friends.

If you’re new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you have experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-going training, support to achieve relevant qualifications and career progression.

About you

You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work 24/7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights. A full driving licence is essential for some roles.

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.

Full-time support workers work 37.5 hours plus one sleep-in a week (pay for sleep-ins included in annual salary above). Some services do not require sleep-ins, and salary for these roles is £17,794 - £18,492 pa. 

All support workers have the option of working additional hours or sleep-ins in a range of services and are paid £50-£70 extra per sleep-in.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
