More Outstanding Care

As we moved through the summer holidays, perhaps just for a while forgetting our daily work pressures and chores, care delivery improved in Oxfordshire with three more services being rated as oustanding by the Care Quality Commission.

Joining the existing outstanding home care services of My Carer, Faringdon and Caretree Ltd and three care homes in Vale House, Sandford on Thames,  Cleeve Lodge in Goring-on-Thames and The Grange Care Centre, Faringdon are Rush Court in Shillingford, Rosebank in Bampton and Godswell Park in Bloxham, all now rated as outstanding care homes.

Godswell Park should have a special mention as the team have achieved the rare distinction of outstanding across all five key lines of enquiry.

And for the first time, one of Oxfordshire’s learning disability supported living providers has achieved the top grade; Brandon Trust’s Oxfordshire services were rated as outstanding on 10 August.

Adding in George Springall Homecare Partnership and Sue Ryder Nettlebed Hospice, a grand total of six care homes, one hospice, three home care services and one supported living provider in Oxfordshire have now achieved their regulator’s top mark.

We are sure that there will be more to follow over the coming months, despite the immense pressures on organsiations and individuals to provide quality services.

Many congratulations to all these services.
