We're YOUR contact point, advocate and representative in the
Adult Social Care
sector in Oxfordshire, regionally and nationally.


As YOUR membership organisation, we represent all Adult Social Care Providers across Oxfordshire and through our wider family, the Care Association Alliance, we take YOUR issues all the way to Government.


Our members include Care and Nursing Homes, Domiciliary Care (Home Care), Live-in-Care, Day Care, Supported Living, Shared Lives and many other Community and Charity support services.

Meet the Admin and Engagement Team

Eddy McDowall

Eddy is our Chief Executive and has worked in adult social care for nearly 40 years in local government and also at the Department of Health and with the Local Government Association.
He has wide-ranging experience of leading partnership projects with diverse memberships.

Lisa Leah

Lisa is our Operations Manager overseeing OACP’s events and external partnerships and oversees delivery of our International Recruitment project.

Lisa joined OACP in April 2021 and has many years of working in
the hospitality sector.

Catherine Newport

Cath is our Administrator and first contact for OACP. Cath is our go-to person for sorting out our IT issues and has excellent knowledge of all things Apple and Microsoft.

Jane Wood

Jane is our Marketing Manager and has an extensive design and marketing background, as well as knowledge and experience of working in the business and voluntary sectors. She leads OACP's marketing and promotions, including this website.

Meet our Digital Team

Fiona Florey

Fiona is our Project Manager, who successfully set up and led our Trusted Assessor Service before leading our delivery of the BOB-wide Better Security Better Care programme funded by Digital Social Care via NCA.

Angela McNally

Angie joined the OACP team in October 2022 supporting completion of the BOB ICS Digital Social Care Record survey. Angie leads the national large provider and new provider projects.

Valerie Jarvis

Valerie joined OACP in October 2022 having extensive experience
working as a Registered Manager since 1991.

Rachel Adams

Rachel joined OACP in early November 2024 bringing experience of working with people with dementia, care home settings and supported housing.

Buckinghamshire Partnership

Alona Tokvus

Alona joined OACP in September 2024 and leads work with our BCPA partners in Buckinghamshire overseeing the Bucks Homestay project. Alona has significant skills in social media and design.

Our Board of Directors

Mike Corran

Joined us in May 2021 as
our Independent Chair.
He previously had a 35-year career in retail banking with senior roles in procurement, leading major change programmes, building external partnerships
and crisis management. 

Liz Clements

Liz is Regional Operations Manager for Hartford Care 
in the Home Counties.
Liz has an extensive track record of clinical leadership and end of life expertise
and leads our End of Life Network.

John Cascone

John is Managing Director of Caremark (West Oxfordshire and Cherwell) and brings 30 years of sales and marketing knowledge to the Board.

Mark Collins

Mark is Business Director at Oxford Private Care, a family-run business, and brings an understanding of domiciliary care delivery and wide-ranging business experience.

Chris Ingram

Chris is CEO at Style Acre,

an Oxfordshire-based provider of supported living services for people with a learning disability.

Patsy Just

Patsy is Operations Director at The Orders of St John Care Trust, a large provider of care homes and extra care housing support across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Lincolnshire.

Katy Trueman

Katy is Director and Manager of Enable Health, a local home care provider that has delivered care services in Oxfordshire since 2013.

Charles Taylor

Charles is Director of Taylor & Taylor Care, a three-generation family business, which runs two nursing homes, The Julie Richardson and Banbury Heights. Charles is Chair of the Oxfordshire Care home Association.
