In June 2025, OACP Chief Executive, Eddy McDowall, had the pleasure of joining a panel of care providers at the Birmingham Care Show to discuss attitudes to care, through the lens of 'the issue of just', an adjective we have probably all used in our careers at one time or another to describe, denigrate and downgrade our professional life.
The panel was hosted by our partners, the Institute of Health and Social Care Management. Membership of IHSCM is free to all OACP Members and provides a huge range of training and development opportunities for social care managers.
